Vira-Lata: vi·ra·-la·ta: Can flipper in Portuguese (Brazil): Describes a dog of mix breed.
The term "vira-lata" originated in Brazil due to a long-standing issue with stray dogs. Vira-Latas have made a name for themselves by turning aluminum garbage cans in search for food. Today, Vira-Latas are seen as symbols of resilience, independence, and loyalty.
OUR STORY
At the heart of our brand is our love for dogs. We build purposeful, sustainable, and quality dog harnesses. Our products are designed in Switzerland and manufactured by hand in Portugal.
But our love for dogs goes beyond just creating great products. We are committed to promoting responsible dog ownership and supporting animal welfare organizations that work tirelessly to help dogs in need. We believe that every dog deserves a loving home, and we are proud to do our part in making that a reality.
We donate a portion of each of our sales to a partner shelter that we have selected with care.
